A 4 inch square plastic flange is found under older style suction covers
(such as the flat metal plate model with screw in middle, or the 1 1/4"
thick plastic body model with solid plated facade). The X shaped MOUNTING
ADAPTER shown at left, is screwed into this square flange, and should
unscrew easily. If damaged it can be replaced with the Ultra Jet™ flange
shown below (if you have the orginal square metal plate cover, you should
replace it with a new plastic suction cover*, for a more secure fit).
Original screw should fit, or can be replaced with one shown below. DO NOT
TRY TO REMOVE THE LARGE SQUARE FLANGE!
